कृषि वनम्

100 Acres of Hands-on Sustainability & Learning.

At LTC, the farm is more than land it’s a living classroom, sustainability lab, and soulful retreat.

Set in a semi-arid, rain-shadow region, the farm embodies resilience against hot summers, low rainfall, and high evaporation.

Its black cotton soil and elevated terrain provide the perfect ground for learning climate-resilient farming through:

  • Traditional Indian practices

  • Modern innovations

  • Sustainable water & soil management

What’s Grown Here?

  • Across 80 cultivated acres, students work hands-on with:

  • Rabi & Kharif crops: jowar, bajra, wheat, tur, cotton, onion, sugarcane

  • Pulses & oilseeds: soybean, groundnut, sunflower, kardai

  • Fruit orchards: mango, chikoo, banana, jackfruit, coconut, pomegranate, tamarind, citrus & more

Here, farming isn’t just about produce — it’s about patience, sustainability, and reconnecting with the rhythms of the Earth.
